2DEFINEArchitecture is a new architectural design practicefounded by Marshall Strabala.Among themany high profileprojectsStrabala has designed, three are among the top 10 tallest buildingsin the world, the BurjKhalifa– previously named Burj Dubai (828m) , the Shanghai Tower (632m), the Nanjing Greenland Zifeng Tower(450m).
2DEFINE Architecture，于2010年由Marshall Strabala先生創(chuàng)建。Marshall先生眾多的設(shè)計作品中包括世界上10幢最高的建筑中的3幢，迪拜塔（828m），上海中心（632m），和南京綠地紫峰大廈（450m）。
Marshall Strabala was the Associate Partner in charge of design for SOM from 1989 to 2006, working on projects liketheiconic HongKong Convention Center, DS-1 on Canary Wharf, andBurjKhalifa(Burj Dubai).Marshall Strabala was the Director of Designat Gensler for four years and Chief Designer for the Shanghai Tower in Gensler from 2006 to 2010.In addition, he designed in Houston, Texas the clean-line designed commercial project across from Discovery Park named Hess Tower； the Houston Ballet Dance Center, located in downtown Houston and Eldridge III office building.
Marshall 先生曾在SOM工作近20年，其間設(shè)計了迪拜塔，香港國際會展中心，倫敦金絲雀碼頭Morgan-Stanley總部等地標(biāo)性建筑。Marshall 先生于2006-2010年任Gensler全球設(shè)計總監(jiān)，并居住在上海，作為上海中心的主設(shè)計師主持了從競賽到擴初的設(shè)計工作。

2DEFINEArchitecture’s most recent projects are ultra-highrisebuilding(above 300m) and mix-used complex. Our entire design process isdone in Shanghai with an international standard.
We focuson the quality ofour project delivery instead of quantity of projects.We value and enjoy all the process of design and keep high level of completion. Also we try to find out special solution of different project and not just pass our sketches to LDI to develop.We create unique and logical solutions for our client projects and do not pass along our drawings for the LDI to develop. We place a high value on the entire design process through to completion. We deliver a practical design concept and develop drawings to a constructable stage and material level.
2DEFINEArchitecture offers the whole spectrum of experience to China, not only schematic design, but real design with construction experience, which is a key value of this international firm.

公司目前的項目主要集中于超高層塔樓(300米以上)和大型城市綜合體項目。公司的目標(biāo)是以國際領(lǐng)先設(shè)計水平，并在上海完成全部設(shè)計任務(wù)。
我們注重的是設(shè)計質(zhì)量和項目的真實性，而不是快速生產(chǎn)方案的流水線。我們重視也享受全程操作和設(shè)計的完成度，而不是僅僅將草圖丟給本地設(shè)計院。我們的設(shè)計過程注重對于每個項目具有針對性的解決方案。
我們關(guān)注和擅長的不僅僅是有可實施性的設(shè)計概念，更注重將概念發(fā)展成可以建造的設(shè)計過程。
我們對中國建筑實踐的貢獻(xiàn)是將全套的設(shè)計經(jīng)驗引入中國，不但是可實施性的設(shè)計概念和方案，更重要的是從方案到實際建成之間全程的工作經(jīng)驗，而這正是國際公司最扎實的財富。
■ What kind of people are we looking for?
2DEFINE Architecture is interviewing designers, dedicated to create high performance, sustainable buildings with strong willingness to learn their craft and have somefundoing it.
Candidatesshould have these basic skills:
1.high design sensitivity to space/form/tectonic/material
2. basic communication in English
3. strong 2D drafting skillsor 3D computer graphics skills(Rhino/Grasshopper)
4. demonstrated technical knowledge and constructiondocuments experience.
We welcome candidates with strong passionfor design architecture, who can focus on design, drawingswith a high sensitivity in tectonics and architecture space. Especially wedo NOT need Marke-tect or Archi-talkect.
With the computer skills.We do not require being proficient in 5-6 software programs.If you are confident that youhave strong expertise in one software (AutoCAD or Rhino or AES or Maya or 3DMax or whatever )that youcan manipulateforspacial and form analysis, drafting and visual effect touch up,we encourage you to apply.
Regarding practical experience, if you hold 5 years experience, we would expect your portfolio to include several real construction projects； if you hold 2 years experience we require at least expertise in one drafting tool.
■ 什么樣的設(shè)計人才適合加入我們的團(tuán)隊？
設(shè)計宅人，我們正在尋找對建造、空間和材料高度敏感的設(shè)計師，對推敲設(shè)計樂此不疲者。
我們不需要你掌握5-6種繪圖軟件的能力。我們更歡迎你能夠至少精通某一種繪圖軟件，并具有用電腦和軟件來進(jìn)行空間形式推敲，精確繪圖和視覺效果處理的技能。
要求你有基本的英語溝通能力。
工作習(xí)慣，我們不是強制性的朝九晚五，也不提倡加班，但是在工作時要專注并高效。
設(shè)計技能和經(jīng)驗和工作年限沒有直接的比例關(guān)系。
